Lead Software Engineer, Microsoft Azure Technologies
Location: Position is remote and the successful candidate MUST be currently located and eligible to work in one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Israel.
BlueVoyant Innovation and Enablement are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer with strong experience in Azure SaaS and Function App development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in either C# or Python and a passion for innovation. This role requires the ability to work independently, conduct research into emerging technologies, and adapt to changing requirements. The successful candidate will also be skilled in rapidly prototyping solutions.

We are a forward-thinking innovation R&D team dedicated to exploring and developing cutting-edge technologies. Our mission is to drive innovation and create impactful solutions that address real-world challenges for BlueVoyant's MDR services including integration with wider reach within BlueVoyant. We are currently undergoing a large restructure of existing capabilities to build a platform that allows for rapid innovation, development and global capabilities deployed to local regions.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure SaaS applications and Function Apps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct research into upcoming technologies and integrate them into projects.
- Rapidly prototype solutions to validate concepts and ideas.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Proven experience as a technical engineering lead
- Proven experience in Azure SaaS and Function App development.
- Proficiency in C#
- Proficiency in Python beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with AI services in Azure is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Deep understanding of Azure serverless components and infrastructure
- Prior experience with AI tooling, RAG bots, AI Agents, Azure AI Studio, Azure Foundry
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
